Racerbear02
Does anyone know if there is a French equivalent of this idea where you put ICE in front of any contact names or numbers in your mobile phone for the authorities to contact in case you are incapacitated? If so what it is? ECU En Case d'Urgence? or is the concept unknown here?
Sunday Driver
ICE (plus number) is recognised in France as a contact number for your 'proches'..

Gardengirl
A very useful system; I had my ICE numbers in my French as well as English phones before I knew it was recognised in many countries. Son number 1 thought it a rum do that he was relegated to number 3 contact until I explained it was better that son 2 should be contacted first, as he lives close to us in UK . (OH is contact 1). Son 1 almost always has his calls diverted too, as he's always in meetings! Of course, anywhere else in the world it wouldn't matter a bit who was contacted first.
