How long to get through security at Stansted?

I last flew from Stansted to Rodez in July. It took about an hour and a half to get through security. Has anybody done it recently with the summer rush over and could they please advice me how long it took them?  I am flying again from Stansted to Rodez on Saturday.

I'll be interested as I'm flying from Stansted on Sunday evening. My worst delay was over 2 hours and the most annoying thig was that only half the security gates were staffed.

My son flew last week, on a Thursday morning, and it took nearly and hour to get through.

I flew on the 30th August, it took less than 10 mins, plenty of scanners open, and was called across to a smaller queue when one was going quicker than the other, guess I was lucky.

Was there last week, walked right through matter of seconds.

I come through Stansted every week - most days it's about 10-15 mins, although I have known it to be closer to 25, but that was unusual

We flew from there last week and it only took a matter of minutes. No great problems.

However, on landing back last Tuesday, it took us longer to get off the plane and to the long stay car park than it did to fly from France!!

Flight 1hr 10 min - plane to car park 1hr 20min.
