If you go on a day trip or for a few days it is always cheaper than if you go for more than a week. I was just wondering if anyone could enlighten me please? It's exactly the same with other forms of transport, like trains, where you can buy a day return for only a few pence more than a single, and a period return is usually far dearer.There are other, more subtle, reasons, such as encouraging day trippers so that they spend money on board (particularly some day trips from, rather than to, France where you cannot even get off the boat in England, so they have you captive for 12 hours or so). Gastines Posted February 10, 2008 Share Posted February 10, 2008 Perhaps Living France will try and get B.F. and others to offer a few cheap day returns FROM France ,even if it's only out of season.With the Bournemouth Echo offering 24Hrs in France for car+2 for £35 ,it would be nice to get the same deal from this side.
