of interest for marciac jazz fest visitors and others........ryanair flights to Pau from july 27 to august 9 are to be re-routed to Tarbes/Lourdes due to runway works at Pau at this time.... this could complicate car hiring if they propose to land you in Tarbes then bus you over to Pau to collect a car !!!!! 

 there are car hire facilities at Tarbes airport.....
