Car parking at Bellegarde Limoges or lift to the UK

Hi all [:)],

I need to make a return trip to the UK sometime around the end of May/early June. I live 30 S.W. of Angouleme and would normally use Ryanair. This used to be a doddle as airport parking was free, but now my only option is Limoges which as most of you will know, with parking charges at 3 times the cost of a return ticket (around €80 for the two weeks [8-)] ) seem bizarre to say the least.

Does anyone have a solution to the problem? I've looked on Google and it appears that the nearby Bellegarde village is just over 1 km from the airport and thus within walking distance. Has anyone parked there for the trip to the UK? Is there a car-park in the village?

I could also park the car in Vernueil-sur-Vienne but don't know if there there's a bus service to Bellegarde (village or airport) and if so, how often buses run. If there's no bus service, at around 5-7 Km for the journey, can anyone hazard a guess at what the taxi fare would be?

Alternatively, is anyone travelling to the UK by car around the same date (my travelling date is quite flexible) who'd be willing to take an extra passenger for a share of the cost? Don't have much by way of luggage. In the UK, drop off could be anywhere along the route from the port to London or (eventual destination) Norwich. Over in France, you could be located anywhere within a 75-100 mile radius of Angouleme whereby providing I can park the car, I could drive over to you.
