Liz
Pardon my French but that is the title of the book by Stephen Clarke. I sat on the ferry yesterday for six hours, fortunately there was hardly anyone else on it, and LOL most of the way. The tale of a young man on a 12 month work contract to set up English tea rooms in Paris. His comments on the French way of life are extremely accurate as well as funny. I'd recommend it to all but the most prudish who might not be too impressed by his adventures with a number of girlfriends.I hope the book hasn't been mentioned before on the Forum, I can't get the search facility to work to find out!Liz (29)
GRT17
Good to hear your comments on the book. This book came into our collection at Christmas along with a copy of "The complete merde" I look forward to reading both. Gill
