Beemer1150 Posted August 4, 2007 Share Posted August 4, 2007 I'm hoping to make the delivery trip for my R1150R (with a UK friend visiting on his VFR) to my new base outside Saintes in time for the Angouleme Ramparts event.I've had a look at the various web references but wondered if any one has any personal views (best vantage points, best time to go etc) and whether there is any organised 'ride in' by this board? samanta Posted August 22, 2007 Share Posted August 22, 2007 It's a great day out!! Get the full ticket for the pits and the circuit - it's great to wander around to the diferent areas. We usually set up a picnic base on the grass banks and everyone comes and goes as they please - this year I've got my Dad and brothers - so I won't be able to come on the bike[:(] and I think they have a speed restriction in place this year.boo.
