Sunday Driver Posted February 17, 2010 Share Posted February 17, 2010 If your rideout involves a pre-determined route and requires riders to pass through specific fixed points on that route, then it is classed as a 'concentration' and you can have up to 400 motorbikes participating. You must make a declaration to your préfecture and obtain prior authorisation and if your route passes through other departments, then you must simultaneously notify the other préfectures concerned. If your route passes through more than twenty departments, then you must also obtain authorisation from the Ministry of the Interior.On the other hand, if it's just a small group of mates off for a day out, then no special permissions are required.....[;-)] . Dog Posted February 17, 2010 Share Posted February 17, 2010 In France I seem to remember that if you take in route rurals or go green laning as it is called in UK the number of bikes in a group has quite a small limit - is this law or just self regulation?
