BIG MAC Posted February 14, 2010 Share Posted February 14, 2010 I have posted this elsewhere however nothing ventured!Do any of our number live in Cherbourg or know someone who does, near to the ferry port? I live in Portsmouth and regularly use Eurotunnel because it is cheap and reliable even if it does mean a lot of driving. I was thinking however if I stored one of my motorbikes in Cherbourg for the summer months I could fast cat across from Portsmouth as a foot passenger get on the bike and be in Mayenne in Jig time. This would allow me to make much more progress than I currently do with my little project. I would be prepared to pay for safe storage whether this be in cases of Heinz beans or Team Bags whatever falls within the rules!I woul dnot anticipate being a nuisance and would likely want the bike for a long weekend at the end of each month. One of my work colleagues lives in Tours so we could car share and he could drop me at Alencon or another Near the A28 location in my neck of the woods.....
