chirpy Posted January 10, 2010 Share Posted January 10, 2010 HI,I received from son in uk a xmas present as above.GREAT camera but it came with 2 discs and 1 unloaded automatically onto laptop to show me how to download pictures.However second disc did not download and I am very new to pc's etc.A small booklet of 30 pages came with the camera but it does not tell me much,unlike my previous Nikon coolpix with 168 pages.Has anyone the same camera who can e-mail me the information so I can findout how to use the many different tools on the camera.p.s.I am 73 nearly ,so bear with me and no complicated methods to download disc--perhaps it is damaged?? if you have methods to unload it please give me basic step by step instructions. [8-)]I have tried without sucess so far. p.p.s. PERHAPS THIS IS PROGRESS..............I never had this problem with my 1948 box ENSIGN camera..........................NOW when we run out of fueletc.in the next century someone [:D]will re-invent image taking apparatus without problems!!!Happy new year to all....dying to take more pictures.[8-)][:D]my original Nikon 12 years ago came with a memory card of perhaps 30 snaps ,so I ordered a 4mb card additionally!I NEED NOT HAVE BOTHERED AS ORIGINAAL HAD 2MB CARD.!!
