Danny
Ive a nest pot made from a clay plant pot thats got two blue ##### working away to make a home for the chicks, this is a very cheap and simple way of providing both a home for the chicks and hours of entertainment, all you have to do is cut a piece of wood to cover the opening of the plant pot and put four nails in the wood (one in each corner) and using a wire coat hanger cut two pieces of wire long enough to go from one corner across the the pot to the opposit corner, so you end up with a x shape, across the hole in the bottom of the pot, this wire is now holding the pot onto the piece of wood covering the opening of the pot, all you should see is the drainage hole, this is now the entrance for the birds to get in to the nest, all thats left to do is find a nice sight thats safe and away from direct winds, and you got a very cheap and natural bird nesting pot that will last for years,
Dick Smith
Do you have to enlarge the hole? I know that different species of birds prefer different sized holes.RegardsDickBONO ANIMO ES
