mikesand Posted May 5, 2004 Share Posted May 5, 2004 Looking for someone to maintain our faithful Castel Garden lawn tractor as it is suffering from an excess of mowing and trailer towing, and is in need of a drive belt and some tlc! Castel is part of the Italian GGP group which I am told is the largest garden machinery manufacturer in Europe, but they don't even seem to have an active web site.I imagine any competent garden machinery dealer would be able to maintain it, asI'm told it is rebadged under different names.We are just south of Ruffec in 16.ThanksSonia & Mike Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
zeb Posted May 5, 2004 Share Posted May 5, 2004 I take our mower to our local garage at Champagne Mouton for service and general repairs. Has yours a Briggs and Stratton engine? Most of them have so you probably won't have problems getting it serviced.Friend has same make mower as yours and got a new belt for it but I don't know from where. I will phone him and message you. Em Posted May 5, 2004 Share Posted May 5, 2004 You could try one of the big DIY stores. I noticed that Castorama here in 14 have a huge service section and there were several mowers being repaired.
