Sheep Wool

Hi Dubna

I used to have this problem as fleeces seem to be two a penny these days.  You could use it to mulch any trees or shrubs.  Being natural it will break down eventually and will do a great job of keeping down the weeds meanwhile.  Some people use it as insulation but I fear it could be a bit of a fire hazard!

We've just had our three sheep sheared. The shearer said he will take the wool if we don't want it. He said he sells it to a marchand and 80% of the wool from this area gets exported to Japan. her also said it is very good for protecting plants through the winter.
I have the shearings from 3 ewes and would like some suggestions of what to do with it. Does anyone want it? I am in Redon in S Brittany.
Thanks for the advice, guess the wool is going on the fire.
