We will still have to put in bathrooms, so we invisage being up and running next summer, the Gite at least. I asked of the Notaire, if we would need permission from the Mayor and commune to run the business, and was told that the B & B would be fine (3-7 rooms) but the Gite would need inspection. We also will live on site. Please does anyone know who inspects? And have you any other Hot Tips regarding the Laws and Taxes due. We will be in the Periguex area and we have also heard we can register for lower taxes as a small business?
