Montybird
Hello all, Bonne année à tout le monde! Not sure if I've posted this in the right place but not sure exactly where to put my question.I'm trying to purchase something from eBay france but the sellers delivery info is as follows: Lieu où se trouve l'objet : ParisFrance métropolitaineLivraison : France métropolitaineFrais de livraison : GRATUIT -- Remise en main propreDoes 'France métropolitaine' mean the whole of France or just the Paris area and suburbs?Any one know the answer? zeb
It means that the item is in Paris and although the seller has said that delivery is available throughout France he wants cash in hand/cash on collection so no delivery charges.
Jo Taylor
It's all of mainland France - excluding DOMs and TOMs.The article is situated in Paris, the seller sells to mainland France BUT 'remise en main propre' means you have to arrange collection.HTHJo
Thumper
For future reference, if your French isn't up to scratch, view the item through eBay.co.uk (or dot com) and all the standard eBay text will be in English. It will also convert Euro prices automatically into Pounds, which is sometimes helpful. You'll still be left with all the seller's text in French, of course, but delivery costs and so forth may be easier to understand.
