My sister and her husband are coming down to France in September, around 24th, for about four weeks and want to rent a gite during that time. They like the sound of the Dordogne and haven't been before, but want easy access to tourist sights and market villages,etc. One suggestion was to base around Brantome area but they're open to ideas. They only need 1 bedroom, want a pool, pretty country setting - as my sister said "something very French".
