Coco Posted June 26, 2006 Share Posted June 26, 2006 A skip is a benne in French. Be careful when you get a quote. There is usually a price for the delivery and hire of the skip and then a further amount to pay (per tonne) when they collect it. The skips are also classified in terms of tonne size as opposed to the UK where it is cubic yards (so you would expect here that it would possibly be cubic metres).
