Eslier
Is it possible to buy such a thing as a meter which will give a digital readout of chlorine, ph and cynauric acid etc. ? If so, does anyone know how much they cost and where I can buy one (online possibly) ?.
Jonzjob
Contact Poolguy. He will be able to help. He is getting some kit in that still uses DPD1 and phenol red, but puts it through a small spectrometer and gives a digital read out.Tell him Jonzjob sent you and you will get a special price, probably 2 for the price of 3? No promises though [8-)].
Goo_Rat
Here: http://www.palintest.com/products/cool+pooltester digital readout for the 3 common measurements, but like them all, you still need to feed it little tablets[;-)]Available on-line, will ship to France - So, that would be all the boxes ticked[:D]

Eslier
Thanks guys, but I was hoping someone was going to tell me there's one which doesn't require reagents. I have seen one advertised, made in China, where you just drop two electrodes into the water but it looks a bit cheap and cheerful.
JJ
Eslier,I have also seen the chinese one on e-bay (I think) I have to agree that it looked cheap and cheerful.I am also intending to buy the Palintest COOLPOOL Meter, and I am awaiting a price from Poolguy.I looked into getting one shipped over fronm the UK, but it was going to cost well over £100.You can get digital tester for ph and salt as well, but am afraid I do not have any details.I do noit mind the fact that you have to use a reagent with the Coolpool tester, and my big problem is reading the results by eye, it is very hit and miss.
