Sunday Driver Posted February 6, 2009 Share Posted February 6, 2009 It's not unknown for some complimentaire policies to include a 'wait' period before claims can be made. When we took one out with Groupama a few years ago, you could claim from day one. Worth checking to see if this is still the case.In any event, maternity costs are well covered by the state assurance maladie. Some of the initial consultations/tests are covered 100% and from six months onwards (if I recall correctly) all costs are met in full by the state.
