Gwynydd Posted January 27, 2004 Share Posted January 27, 2004 For those who dont know, the issuing og FTV cards for ITV1, Channel4 and Channel5 will stop this Friday the 30th January. If you are thinking of getting a digibox in the near future, I suggest you get the card pronto. After this date, you can still ring to activate cards and there will be someone there to activate cards that have been issued and to sort any card problems out. Any FTV cards that have been issued are guaranteed to work until the end of 2005.From February 1st, the only way to get ITV1, Channel4 and Channel5 is to subscribe to $ky. We shall see.It normally isn't possible to order a new card without giving the serial number of your digibox so those without a box may have difficulty getting in before the deadline.
