By accident we were on line with 2 PC's at the same time and were connecting at 128kbps - result a letter from 9online saying our account is being terminated in 15 days.

Called the helpline who said they were cancelling the contract and we would have to open another account. The downside appears to be that we lose our e-mail address and our 19.90 a month 24/7 connection, if that's not bad enough the only new offer is for 20 hours a month!

So do not be tempted to use the service at 128kbps.

I was thinking of subscribing to 9online when we move to France
( Dept.49) in July.
I may be being thick here, but are you saying that they are bumping you simply because you made a mistake and had 2 computers running simultaneously ?
Are 9online a particularly finnicky company to deal with?
I had virtually decided on them because of all the problems you read about on this forum with tiscali / AOl, etc..........
