Most will, cheap ones won't. Look at the spec in the manual. you need "PAL playback" ("Lecture du PAL"??) NTSC playback (often included) won't help, unless you have lots of American tapes.Don't assume that you can connect one to a UK TV, either!VCR's are becoming quite rare nowadays, our local Leclerc only has about 4 different models for sale.
