Frederick Posted September 18, 2006 Share Posted September 18, 2006 I have now got a laptop to take to France to keep in touch.......I am advised Mc Donalds is a free "Hotspot " for connections .there is one near me in Lucon so ....does XP connect automatically there ...has anybody had to suffer their coffee to use their hotspot for internet connections so is it easy ....help out an old man with a brain stuck in the crawer lane these days when it comes to learning new computor stuff. Frederick Posted September 18, 2006 Author Share Posted September 18, 2006 Thanks Cassis .......There are 2 places in La Tranchc sur Mer one is a camp site another a hotel ....so will give it a go there .....I read that Mc D's will give you an hour or two free if you buy a "happy meal " ...what next !...must have been in the USA .
