Does anyone know when Five (and all its offspring, variants, and time-shifts) come to the end of their current carriage contract with Sky? - Yes, I know that because of the News Intnl shareholding, that wouldn't necessarily mean that they'd magically become free-to-air, but it's always possible (just).

Correct - Five is free to air - the BBC lent them a spot on the satellite - I notice though that it doesn't appear on 105 on a Sky box without a card, it has to accessed via the 'Add Channels'.

freesat boxes do not have this issue.
