johnycarper Posted October 20, 2012 Share Posted October 20, 2012 Just had a very professional guy claiming to be from Microsoft who seemed to know i have been having problems with the computer,but not trusting anyone who phones I just listened to him.When he asked me to sign onto the computer I then challenged him and said you are not microsoft and of course he hung up. Quillan Posted October 20, 2012 Share Posted October 20, 2012 If you do a search (in the forum) using the words "Microsoft phone call" you will see posts going back to March of this years on this scam.For those that are new to the forum this is a scam and you should simply put the phone down on them.
