Emails not displaying 'From' and Subject

I use Outlook Express and for about a week now about half my emails are coming in with nothing showing in the 'From' and 'Subject' lines, when I click on them there is a lot of computer gobbledegook before the message which is broken up by == = = signs

I've tried googling, but I don't even think I have the right version of OE to follow the instructions

Any ideas ?

I've tried messing around in Outlook to try and get the same effect, but have been unable to do so.

Maybe one thing you could try is to uninstall and reinstall.
