Christine Animal Posted October 9, 2006 Share Posted October 9, 2006 This little Caniche amongst others has been at the Thouars pound for over a week now and they won't keep him much longer. This is desperate if anyone can offer him a home, or even a temporary one until a permanent home is found.Thouars is in the north Deux-Sèvres, not far from Saumur. I brought the little Caniche back today... [IMG]http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a269/lavande/Cachou2.jpg[/IMG] He is the sweetest little thing, loves being in your arms, in the car, is fine with other dogs. I left him in the car on the way back to do my shopping and he was as good as gold (sleeping!). The vet thinks he is about eight years old and if anyone would like to offer him a home, they won't be disappointed, he's a lovely little dog.There is no web site for Thouars as it is not a big refuge, just a few kennels for dogs found in that area, that's why they can't keep them long.Today I saw there a lovely little male Spaniel type dog, a female Labrador (well 90% Labrador) pup, a young Fox Terrier cross and a couple of hunting Beagle types. Their telephone number is 05 49 66 14 14.When I went last week this one looked nice, he was wagging his tail, but his eyes were sad.
