She has

been here for two days,i found her rooting through my rubbish.i have

been giving her lots of little meals and she has been drinking alot.i

have de-wormed her and de-ticked her as she was absolutly covered in

them.
All her bones are sticking out, she is emaciated. Her teats are

big and she is producing a little milk,so i think the pups are due

soon.
2 years ago a stray turned up in a similar condition,he

is still here. But there is no way i am allowed to keep her. It's a shame

because shes a really special dog,my little boy has named her

'Princess'.She is a french Braque,a beautiful breed.
We live

near Condom,if anybody knows of someone who will look after her ,please

let me know,as i am falling in love with her!and time is running out.I

would be prepared to travel a long way ,if she went to the right

place. We are due to move out of our house for the summer to rented

accomodation which is alot smaller, and so i know its not viable to keep

her.My partner has suggested taking her to SPA tonight,it would break my

heart to do this.
I will run her to the vets today,to check

for a chip,but i don't hold much hope.

If anyone can help out with this dog I have the lady's telephone number and email address - she's prepared to travel to bring the dog to the right home as she tells me this dog is an absolute angel.. amazing with children, and bomb proof with other dogs, cats and chickens.

update - this lovely dog was taken to the vet last night and found to be around seven to nine years old, no microchip (surprise surprise) suffering from malnutrition and anemia but otherwise a nice dog with an incredible temperament!  Looks like she will have the puppies quite soon and the lady that took her in is trying desperately to hang on to her till then. She is going to try to get some pics to me which I will post on here but she is a rather lovely Wiemarana type.  Will keep this post up-dated as and when I hear more.
