Coca, the little Griffon X, needs a new home!!

Recommended Posts

Unfortunately, through no fault of her own, Coca, a lovely little Griffon cross has been returned to the Refuge following her adoption a few months ago (and wonders why!).  In a nutshell, the people realised that having an active little dog in a flat in the centre of town entails a bit more work - in that she needs regular walks at least and to be kept safe from traffic etc.

Coca managed to escape a few times, not good news in a busy town.  So town dwelling is not for her - particularly as she finds the noise, traffic and people very frightening.  Coca is fox terrier size, 3 years old, sterilised, very, very affectionate with people once she gets to know them.  A home without cats is best though and she is ok with other dogs.  But easily frightened of unknown noises and people she does not know.  Otherwise a clean and calm little dog.  She needs and deserves a loving home with owners who will build her confidence and keep her busy and active.  She will repay you with much devotion and make an adorable companion!!

Coca preferably needs a country home with an enclosed garden + lots of TLC of course.  She is micro chipped (250 269 500 411 089) and vaccinated.  If you might be able to offer this lovely little dog a home, please get in touch.

Yes, I saw little Coca yesterday and she is not happy at the Refuge - and has lost some condition with the stress of it all!  She must wonder why she is back there!!

I can't believe this little girl is still waiting at the Refuge.  She is being overlooked and is very, very unhappy there!!  If you think you can offer this lovely dog a home, please do get in touch or come and see us on Sunday at our Open Day (see other post).  She really is adorable, but so stressed at the Refuge, it is obviously difficult for people to pick her out and see what a lovely dog she is!!!!  Can anyone give her a chance of a happy new life???

Coca is off to her new home tomorrow - she will have to other dogs as companions in her new home in the country!  We wish her well for her new life and a big thank you to her new owners.

Many thanks to all who have and are helping this lovely little dog - especially Merlin, as ever!
