Cats on Ferries?

Your cats will remain in the car in their cages on the ferry. They will be fine and you will be allowed to check on them once during the journey (escorted). Go for the shortest land journey because many cats prefer this to long car journeys. Don't attempt to stop on the way in the car to let them out to 'do their business' as this distresses cats even more. Cats will not go to the tiolet for a few days. Don't worry they will be fine. Buy a spray from your vets to calm them before you set off. Spray the bedding and the inside of the car. Good luck.

The pray os called Felispray I think anyway it was great. We had large individual boxes for our four, large enough to put a small bed at the front and a puppy trainer pad with some cat litter on it at the back. This worked well, three cats made use of this but one must have crossed his legs all the way to Narbonne....... We had water pots attached to the wire doors at the front but they did not seem to drink much. We did not feed them much but sprayed their paws with water everytime we stopped to encourage them to lick this off for some moisture. They were fine, quiet except one who cried all they way....probably the one with his legs crossed......
