dinks Posted December 5, 2004 Share Posted December 5, 2004 We move to France in the new year and will be taking are motorcycle and motorcycle trailer with us . in time we will register the bike on French plates But the question is do motorcycle trailers have to be registered the same as a car trailer. Anton Redman Posted December 5, 2004 Share Posted December 5, 2004 If you mean a trailer that you tow behind a bike such as a Goldwing then I believe they do not need seperate registration as they will be below the 750kg gross weight limit.If you are taking a trailer for carrying bike or bikes on then weight and overrun break requirements are the same as any other trailers Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
