jd Posted July 5, 2008 Share Posted July 5, 2008 Having just registered a car in France we have since decided to reimport it back to England.We had not yet notified the DVLA of the move to France. Sunday Driver Posted July 5, 2008 Share Posted July 5, 2008 If you are retaining ownership of the vehicle and registering it in the UK under your name, then you do not have to do anything in France. On the other hand, if you are returning the car to the UK to sell whilst it is still on its French plates, then you should notify your prefecture of the change of ownership.
