Ann33 Posted May 21, 2005 Share Posted May 21, 2005 Hi,I am a registered General nurse, whose specialist field is Renal Dialysis.I moved to France in January of this year, and speak and understand basic French.I have had my professional qualifications translated by a sworn translator.Does anyone know the next step for finding work? Or does anyone know where someone may need nurses in the area? I live between St Malo, Dinan, and Rennes. I am interested in any hospital work at the moment, but later on work in my specialist field.Is it a good idea to present yourself in person at hospitals in the area?Even if I can only work as a support worker to begin with I would be happy to do that, also I don't necessarily have to work in full time employment.Help!!merci beaucoupAnn 33 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There is a thread from June last year in this forum which gives some advice ie register with the council of Nursing and Midwives. You need fluent french too.
