I spent the last 18 months working in Paris. Now 8 months after returning to the UK I've just received a "recapitulatif individuel des remunerations" from my former employer. What is this, do I need to keep it and does it require any action from me? Or can I just wang it in the poubelle?

Don't whatever you do throw anything like this away, it is probably to

do with tax and may also be important for any pension rights for the

future.  Also, should you return to France at some point you will

probably need it as we are supposed to keep everything for about 10

years.

Would you have thrown it away if you had received it from the British Tax Authorities? Well, then keep it, read it well - does it need to be filled in and returned? If so fill it in and take a photocopy before sending it back. Bin it - some people! Didn't you learn any french while you were working in France, or how they do things here?

maureen.
