katycrunch
Hi Can anyone tell me (before I phone the ANPE and ASSEDIC) tomorrow what it means when a job advert has the following words: 'Ce contract est uniquement accessible au beneficiare RMI ou ASS ou API ou AAH'. Does this mean that you have to be claiming benefit to be eligible to apply for this job? Also, another one: 'Vous devez etre eligible a l'agrement ANPE/IAE'. Hope someone can help. Clair
AAH = Allocation aux Adultes Handicappés (disability allowance)API = Allocation Parent Isolé (single parent allowance)RMI = Revenu Minimum d'Insertion (minimum income allowance)IAE = Insertion par l'Activité Economique (ANPE agreement given to long-term unemployed prior to job referral)
katycrunch
So I guess that means if you're just an ordinary person who's looking for work, you can't apply.Hmm.Thanks anyway [8-)]
Clair
not for these jobs anyway!Have you checked with the temping agencies? They too have job vacancies, most of them on short-time contracts, but worth a look if you do want to work...
katycrunch
Yes, I've applied for some via agencies too. It was just that these two particular jobs were actually based in our local village, which is rare. Thanks for your help. [kiss]
