val2 Posted April 12, 2003 Share Posted April 12, 2003 I've yet to see any application pass our council committee for garden gates and wall yet, although if it is going to be a high wall with really large gates and you are in a village, I would just ask at the mairie if they need a declaration de travaux first as you could be infringing the local rules regarding les monuments historique etc. Everyone round here does what they want anyway even if they don't have permission,but not being a local may make you a little more conspicuous.
