Cadastral plans

I need to get my cadastral plans to attach to my application for permis de construire. Does anybody know

1. Do the local offices (mine's Auxerre) have them available immediately, or do you have to warn them?

3. Do they require proof of ownership?

2. Is there a charge?

3. Are they willing / able to fax or post them to the UK?

Our local Mairie (22) has them on CD & she simply prints out what you ask for.

I've never been asked, but they know me. Cadastral information is in the public domain (they may not tell you who owns a particular plot, however).

Our Mairie certainly has them available but we had an extract showing our plots (with full dimensions) and the neighbouring plots attached to all the papers we got from the notaire on completion

You can also go direct to the local Hôtel des Impôts and in their cadastral office,they will copy your particular area for you at a cost of about 1€ each. Other than that, the local mairie will give you a copy (not always free though,someone has to pay for the ink). Please don't expect people to forward copies to the UK,this isn't very normal and definately the Impôts wouldn't do it.

Thanks for helpful answers. No, the Mairie in my case doesn't have them.

Val2, you may have misunderstood my question. It certainly wasn't an expectation that anyone would send them to the UK. Just a question.
