Will Posted August 2, 2005 Share Posted August 2, 2005 There are two web sites - Les Echos (a French business newspaper) and Societe.com - where you can input the SIREN (the first nine numerical digits of a SIRET number) and you should receive details of the business, what it is registered to do, and in whose name it is set up. Les Echos can be a bit temperamental and unreliable but when it works well it gives a lot of information. Societe.com is probably easier to use but less informative.
