Terrazzo

We have a TERRAZZO floor in the sejour - about 40 odd sq metres - where it has been walked on it is dull & has no gloss- where there were carpets it is ok. It is  in good condition - some of the grout is a bit dark/dirty, but no broken tiles at all. They are about 30 cm sq.

I am struggling to find a company to clean it, sand it down, seal it- near Poitiers, 86210- anyone out there who knows about Terrazo or a company that could do this job ?

I have exactly the same problem, plus I would like to lay about another ten sq metres to match an existing terrazzo/granito floor . Coincidentally, I am in Charente(16) too , so not far away from you. It seems that the knowledge to lay terrazzo/granito has all but died out in France during the last ten years. I have found a few companies near Paris or down south that seem to be the last remaining in France capable of working with granito, but unfortunately none near Charente:

Will try some of those- have found a French bloke working in London(for a large UK co) who might get back to me plus someone who could come to France  for £2900 !!!! (+ VAT - should there be VAT then??)  and another one I am waiting to hear from-    if you are in France have you looked in the  Pages Jaunes?    I did find someone who did come out from near Poitiers, but I can't get a price out of them!  And they are a specialist cleaning company - and, their email also doesn't work.

I will keep you posted if I get anywhere - would it make sense for someone who has to travel to combine these 2 jobs?  we are  NE of Poitiers are you far from here?
