Barbel Bob Posted March 13, 2008 Share Posted March 13, 2008 Hi,We came back from holiday last week to find the Crepi has fallen off my exterior wall, only where the chimney bricks are. We then went in the attic and the plaster has come off the exact same place inside, it was fine before we left but now crumbles off when you touch it.This chimney stack has not been used for a fire as far back as i know of, 3 -4years +, we do have the boiler pipe going into the stack ( done by previous owners) and have had to replace recently the pipe due to it rusting away, could this be relevent?Does anyone know what could be the cause of this as the more that comes off the bigger the cost, also worried it may fall on my neighbours cars [:(]Thanks Julie Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
