Pocket doors/shutters

Our 1st-floor living room, with its cathederal ceiling, has wall so short, that there is no header above the windows for mounting any sort of curtain rail or pole. Equally, the windows are so long that, not only will they need external guard rails, but also would present a real danger to anyone leaning out to close external shutters.

It's not a security issue, necessarilly, it's more about the 'black hole' effect when it's dark. So I'm looking at the possibility of building in sliding shutters on either side of the windows in pockets in the walls (still being constructed, so now's the time) but cannot find a supplier for the running gear which is basically a bottom rail/roller set and something above to guide and locate the shutters at the top. The sliding door kits for wardrobes would seem to be a bit over-spec'ed for this job, and also seem not to be available other than with the whole doors.

any ideas?
