We have owned for the past to a large french farmhouse on the outskirts of Thiers, which was previously used as a children hostel offering activity holidays in the Auvergne Region. We are looking for a english speaking builder to convert the old shower rooms into 2 self-contained gites.Does anyone out there have any experiences of english speaking builders in this area?Thank you for any comments posted. Surely it would have been quicker for you to learn French then employ a local firm....[;-)]What if you come across a post completion snag?
