Jonzjob Posted March 18, 2014 Share Posted March 18, 2014 At the moment I am trying to find the fault on our neighbours Fenair pressure washer. The motor runs fine, but the pressure regulator only gives out one pressure and that's about mains pressure. I have tried contacting Fenair here in France and was told that it must be quite old and they don't make them and haven done for ages. He didn't know the machine at all.What I am trying to do now is get some info on the compressor and especially the regulator so that I can have a look at it and see if I can fix it?This an external of the regulator. Théière Posted March 18, 2014 Share Posted March 18, 2014 Good luck with that john, it's been 30 years since i stripped re sealed and serviced a pressure washer and even then it only worked for a while. sid Posted March 18, 2014 Share Posted March 18, 2014 Petrol driven pressure washers all work pretty much on the same principle, they have different design layouts but the main components are recognisable; the most common fault is a sticking relief valve. Either way there doesn't seem to be a lot to loose?But my 1st job is to see to the pool for the prep for the new liner [:-))]It will be a great shame if it's a bin jobby, because it is a solid and well made bit of kit.Ta for the good wishes though TP!!
