I am looking to install a water main to a property & wanted to know if there would be any complications or if i am allowd to install the poly pipe from the road up to the house where i would like the water meter fitted allowing the authorities to make the final connections to both the water meter & the main in the road - Thanks

Hi looking into a self build as have wanted to do one for a long time & wanted to ask are there or is there a scheme in France which allows you to recliam any taxation on materials as VAT reclaim scheme in the UK I can not find any reference to this on the forum Thanks

I have a Viessmann Vitodens 343F lpg boiler which i am looking at installing into a three bathroom 250m2 underfloor heating barn conversion & i have had different opions on the boiler, some say great & some say do not touch with a barge pole, i was just wondering if there was any comments or thoughts here - thanks

Does anyone know of a checklist of things to do prior to departure & also upon arrival in France, eg inform HMRC, arrange health insurance, register with the health authorities ( where) , change driving licence ect

My wife has many medical conditions one being diabetes, I know that the drugs for this condition are free & reimbursed 100% does anyone know if this would apply to all the medicines as it does in the UK or just the medicine for the diabetes.
