Hi all, Thought it was time to update everyone with the progress of our lovely family since we moved to France a year ago. It's been FANTASTIC to say the least. Sally has entered lots of shows around the country - been made very welcome at all of them - even when she wins the best prizes! Our Grace was first to win with a CACS followed by the new twins who both won their classes! A couple of weeks ago Velvet won her first CACS at Ahun - and then went on to win Best of Breed. Sally was over the moon. Makes moving the France the best decision we have made in years - here you are recognized for the quality of your dogs - not who you know!!. Flame left us to go back to England last week :-C very sad to see her go - but she is giving lots of love to her new family and has become the baby of the family again! Now Grace has given us a new litter of puppies to love all very fit and well and (of course) GREAT time wasters!! All work on the house and barns have come to a grinding halt!!We will be keeping another girl from this litter taking us up to 8 Goldens - namely - Chester(11) Heidi (9) Grace (7) Velvet (7) Hazel (4) Rowen(1) Dickens (1) - not too sure of the new one's name yet - might by Sable. Hi Dawn, We live very near you - in the Commune de Folle which is just a couple of Kms north of Lauriere. In fact we visit Lauriere at lot! We've lived here for just over a year and love it. We are pleased to tell the world that our special girl Hazel has had her first litter of Golden Retriever puppies!! Hazel comes from a long line of Golden Retrievers we have breed in England but what makes whis litter very special for us as this is the first we have had since moving to France!! Hazel had 7 little boys and 5 little girls and all are doing well! We moved near La Souterraine in June - like most - to get away from the problems of England and we are so very happy now to have this first litter - let's hope it is the first of many!
