  1. many thanks scooby and valb. we have tried creme legere(from memory there are two types) but they both seem to taste the same. we will certainly try creme professional - our only problem is now to find our nearest superU as our local big supermarket is intermarche. please don't tell my GP I have been asking about cream he thinks I'm on a cholestoral lowering diet!
  2. I'm not actaully looking for British food but seem to be unable to find cream cream comparable to the type available in the UK.  Whilst fromage frais is fine in it's place, I do miss single/double cream to make wonderful dauphinois.  Does anyone know of an equivalent French brand?
  3. [blink]Sorry to start the discussion up again but I'm after a bit of advice.  After moving our furniture out to SW France (46) in 2007 (excellent removals company btw) we now find that we have a few more pieces of furniture that we want shipping over.  Probably a large transit would suffice.  I really don't want to "self drive" and wondered if anyone out there can recommend a company that ships small amounts of furniture?  I guess I'm looking for a reliable "man with a van" type of set up who operates out of London or South East.  Many thanks
