Can anyone point me in the direction of where I can find a job and somewhere to live, I am trying to relocate to France, I have no preference of location, I am by myself so a small apartment will be fine and any sort of work, I can turn my hand to most things. I speak basic French which needs total immersion to improve further.

Don't do it, its a minefield.

I'm looking for a 1 bedroom (or more) apartment/house in Aquitaine, Poitou-Charente or Loire Atlantique for which I am prepared to pay up to 2 years reasonable rent in advance.
