Christine, It is very cute, with its little verdigris roof. Looking at the design, I'd be surprised if it was flatpack.Hanging feeders do swing around a bit in the wind so you need to make sure they can't hit anything (or anyone!)... I have homemade versions on quite long chains, to stop the cats reaching them. Not nearly as pretty, but the birds don't seem to mind!I don't find these spiral hangers very useful for bird food but filling them with nesting material is nice idea.

Did you find a bird table, Margaret? In case you didn't, here are some links to a supplier. I prefer the last option... it is sturdy enough for woodpeckers, collared doves and squirrels! ...but it isn't a table.Table mangeoireMangeoire a oiseauMultistation alimentation Oiseaux

Comme une Image is available on Orange CineSeries at the moment, but the synopsis didn't grab me... So thanks very much for the recommendation. :) Their synopses are woefully poor; they don't name the director or actors, nor the original language, despite VO being an option for every film... bah! Thanks again. [B]

Jolly good. Glad to help. It took about 3 months to get a response to the form. :) but it was all straightforward once the process was started.

For herbs, spices and seasonings...
I've just received a delivery from www.seasonedpioneers.co.uk and I'm very happy with the goods and service. The products are high quality and well packed for freshness. Delivery to Europe is free for orders over £30.
I recommend the Indian Seasonings Selection pack and have just bought one to give as a gift.
La Redoute is good in the uk, does anyone know what the French one is like? they have lots more stuff in the French version
I've used La Redoute a lot for furniture, clothes etc. No problems at all. Goods can be delivered to your door or collected from the nearest 'relais colis' (a parcel depot in a local shop). I always use the relais colis for returns.

Thanks Q. I've had a Livebox for several years, having started off with Wanadoo, but on different package. I might ask Orange about it next time hell freezes over and I call 3900. [:-))]

I'm sorry I missed that. Taxi not Sarko.Yes, Chancer, Taxi 1 & 2 are French films, also starring Samy Nacéri. I think there's a 4 as well. Hilarious, if you like that sort of thing, as I do. Those films introduced me to lots of new vocabulary. [Www]

If your with Orange just get a LiveBox from them, 3 Euros per month, after a year its free and its theirs so there is no warranty problems if things go wrong.
Just noticed this comment Quillan. Is that right that it's free after a year ? We've been with them for 2 years now and are still paying the 3 euros. If it's right I'll give them a chase.

Quillan, When/if you have a moment...I'm sorry to ask again about the same point as Greyman but is the Livebox being free after one year's rental particular to the 39,90€ package? I can't find any mention on the FT/Orange website under that formula or under the livebox information. Did the reduction happen automatically or as a result of some negotiation with Orange? Thanks

Bubbles, I hoover my laptop keyboard to remove all sorts of things like poppy seeds, toast crumbs, cat hair... I use an attachment with a little brush, that way the suction is not ferocious enough to strip the keys. I also hoover out the fan periodically, as it gathers a ball of fluff that eventually stops the fan turning & the laptop doesn't respond well to that at all. [Www]There are dents in S, K, L, I & O where my ring-finger nails have worn the plastic away. The print on L, O & S is wearing off a bit too... and only the right hand side of the space bar seems to be used!

Part of last night's Envoyé Spécial followed a team of pompiers from France digging for survivors, SAMU from Martinique evacuating very seriously injured people by plane and also, the orphans...My fingers are crossed for your friend, Frenchie. If I understood the French ambassador correctly, orphans who have passports and whose adoption papers are already complete will be flown to France.
