Hoping for someone to shed some light on that age old problem of pool security.  We have a holiday home which is regularly left empty and are about to have pool installed. I've just read in an old message to this forum recommending a rigid, roller shutter- type security cover above all else, but we have been told that the water quality (saltwater pool) may be affected by leaving such a cover in place for long periods. Can any one give me any other advice?  Thanks.

Similar to a velux but an enclosed pipe going from the roof to the ceiling of the room. easier and cheaper to install - I think- than a velux, partic as our room is below a huge roof void. Does that help?

Does anybody know anything about the supply and fitting of sunpipes in France? It sounds like they could be the answer to our problem of a small room with no natural light. Thanks
