Ive never seen any flooding around the secondigny area but it might be because it is above sea level or it is naturally high up, it might flood in the lowlands like the venice verte

last year i got a CU for converting my barn to a house which was excepted, now Im thinking of getting a permis de construct to build a house next to the barn instead of converting the barn, do you think i need to apply for another CU or do I go for a permis de construct

has anyone recieved strange emails, looks like they got my email from (france forum discussion) and it says "replying to this message will be sent back to the user via normall email"
the email says
"I hope today finds you well, I felt greatly impressed by reading your profile today, I have somthing to discuss with you" and it says something like email me to discuss this further
Ive only got my name on my profile so thats hardly impressing ,Do you think its 1 of those nigerian scam things

it is a concrete tank build in the 1960s or 1970s , about 3 years ago my english neighbours did say that it might be a tank with a crack in it which might be why it leaks out, they knew the previous owners of the property who are french so they must have had a conversion with them along time ago about the septic tank having a crack in it

baitiments de france, are they local goverment people, im in 79 and my nearest town is parthenay, so are these people in parthenay in that big building up the road which is opposite mr bricolage and the new swimmming

the sewage goes into a sealed tank, which i think is called a septic tank or fosse d aisances, and when its full, you ring them up and the truck comes and sucks it all out, but its a holiday home and only used 6 weeks a year, weve had the house for 6 years and the tank has never been emptied and i opened the lid up in 2005 and it looked okay

my house has a septic tank and not a fosse septic , so If I wanted to sell my house would I need to install the latest fosse septic to the latest standard costing lots of money because I read some where that the rules and regs are changing and they are going to get alot stricter ,so is it a legal requirment to have the latest standard fosse septic to sell a house in france

thanks for reply, do you think i have to include a fosse septic in my permis de constuct form, if so i will have to put it on my drawing, and does the fosse septic need to be a certain distance from the house

the notes on the C U say
1 les frais de raccordements aux divers reseaux (eau , electric) sont a la charge du constructeur
2 la filiere d'assainissement autonome proposee au moment du depot permis de construire devra recevoir l'accord de la commune (loi sur l'eau du 3 janvier 1992)

the land is in deux sevres, ive got a C U for converting my barn but i think for the same price i could build a new house next to the barn that is better to heat in the winter, i read the other post and i think it was interesting but as i have found out in the last week a C U is not planning permission, the permis de construire is planning permission, i wonder if ive got a C U to convert my barn already could I get a permis de construire for a new build since its on the same plot

How likley would it be to obtain planning permission for a new build house in a rural area, do most people get permission or are the authorities tuff on new builds

does anyone know the standard sizes for windows and doors, ive got to do a plan for my permis de constuire and i remember the last time with the house i recieved a letter about the permis and it said the window must be taller than it is wider

I am planning to convert my barn in to a house which means change of appearance plus installation of water and electric and maybe a fosse septic, trouble is there seems to be 2 different forms for permis de constuire, which one is the best

thank you for reply, my french is not that good, do you know what form i need to fill in, theres" les permis d'amenager" cerfa 13409 and theres" pour maison individuelle et/ou ses annexes" cerfa 13406 also i have a number on my certificat d urbanisme, do i put this number in the permis de construire form
